NC State Football Kicks Off Season 3-0 for First Time Since 2022
NC State football struck gold with three straight wins to start 2025. But can the Pack keep up the hot streak?

"I think playing the schedule that we've played has helped us," NC State head coach Dave Doeren said, per On3. "We've been tested; that team hadn't, so it definitely put us in a better position in Week 3 by playing the two teams that we did."
The path to perfection wasn't smooth. Two games went down to the final minutes, while another required a fierce comeback. The Pack faced stiff tests right from the start, proving their worth in tight spots.
Wake Forest gave them their latest challenge. Down early, NC State stormed back for a 34-24 win. The victory showed off their skill at switching tactics mid-game when the pressure mounted.
Each win told its own story. Early matches proved they could win close ones. Against Wake, they showed they could punch back when trailing.
With three wins under their belt, NC State sits pretty for the next stretch of games. Their offense really clicks, making it easy for them to get down the field. Their defense stands strong.
