Downtown Smithfield Ready to Host 10th Annual Touch-A-Truck Event Nov. 1

Downtown Smithfield will buzz with activity on Nov. 1, as trucks of all sizes roll in for the 10th Annual Touch-A-Truck event. The Junior Women's League plans this free gathering from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Young visitors can climb aboard massive machines, from fire trucks to bulldozers. Workers and first responders will stand by their vehicles, ready to share stories about their daily duties. Short, curious kids might need a boost to reach the driver's seat.
