Habit Burger & Grill will open its second Fayetteville-area restaurant at 2818 Town Center Drive near Jack Britt on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The California-based chain announced this on Dec. 3.

This marks the second spot for the burger chain around Fayetteville. The first opened on Oct. 16, 2019, at 2050 Skibo Road.

Habit Burger & Grill started in Southern California back in 1969. Today, the chain operates over 385 restaurants across 14 states and in other countries. They make Charburgers cooked over an open flame. Sandwiches, salads, and shakes also fill the menu.

"Habit is fired up to be part of Hope Mills, a place with real history, real charm, and a whole lotta personality," said Chef Jason Triail, Director of Culinary Innovation at Habit Burger & Grill, per a news release. "We can't wait to roll up our sleeves and serve Fayetteville some seriously good eats: our award-winning charburgers, stacked sandwiches, fresh salads, and all the flavor-packed goodness we do best."

The Hope Mills restaurant will host three VIP events before opening to everyone. CharClub members who sign up at order.habitburger.com/nro/fayetteville can get invitations.

On Monday, Dec. 8, and Tuesday, Dec. 9, the first 200 guests at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. will receive a free chargrilled meal from a set menu. All guests must be CharClub members and present VIP invitations.

The new restaurant will offer dine-in and takeout services. Delivery will be available through the mobile app and online at order.habitburger.com. Self-serve kiosks will be there. Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates, and Uber Eats will also deliver.
